Have fun, make friends, play football
Egerton Girls FC is a collaborative, fun environment for girls aged 5 and upwards to experience grassroots football, supported by in-house FA-qualified coaches. As an FA Wildcats Centre, our training promotes a safe environment where girls can have fun, make new friends, develop fundamental new skills, and create foundations for a lifelong love of the sport.
2024/25 season. We have 13 teams ranging from u8s to u16s, and the Girls’ Squad is growing fast. Egerton is now part of the FA Squad Girls for players aged 12-14, and we set ambitious training targets to stretch our players and allow them to gain excellent football skills and a competitive but respectful playing attitude.

Our Girls Weekly Training Sessions
Girls Training takes place at Egerton on the 3G pitch on Wednesday evenings: 5.00pm - 6.20pm for U8 up to U11 teams (includes Wildcats Training) and 6.30pm - 7.50pm for U12 to U15 teams. Girls aged 4-8 are welcome to join our Girls Mini’s at the 5.00-6.20pm Wednesday evening session and can also join Saturday Club (Girls and Boys mixed) at Egerton on Saturday mornings - for full details see the Mini Football page.
Training Sessions are lead by FA and UEFA qualified coaches with an aim to develop the individual, the team and a focus on enjoying football.
Goalie training takes place on Friday evenings on the 3G with ex-Macc Town First Team Goalie Coach Bill Gorton, and is free for Egerton FC members.
Membership
Membership to Egerton Girls Football Club is £285 for 24/25 and is renewed annually. It includes weekly training sessions and matches. The kit is available from our club shop: https://www.prodirectsport.com/soccer/clubhouse/egerton-f-c/
- U7-U11 girls train on Wednesdays from 5 – 6.20 pm
- U12, U13 and U14 girls train Wednesdays 6.30 – 7.50 pm
- U15 and U16 girls train Wednesdays 8 – 9.20 pm
The girls play matches on a Saturday morning.
Holiday Club
Holiday Club is run during the school holidays for girls and boys, from Reception to Yr 7 (maximum age 12).
Girls Football Leagues
Our Girls’ teams play in the Cheshire Girls Football League (CGFL), with teams at U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15 and U16.
