Egerton Girls FC is a collaborative, fun environment for girls to experience grass roots football from aged 5 upwards, supported by in-house FA qualified coaches. As an FA Wildcats Centre, our training promotes a safe environment where girls can have fun, make new friends, develop fundamental new skills and create foundations for a lifelong love of the sport.
For the 23/24 season, we will have 13 teams ranging from u8s to u16s and the Girls Squad is growing fast. Egerton is now part of the FA Squad Girls for players age 12-14 and we set ambitious targets for our training to stretch our players and allow them to gain excellent football skills and a competitive but respectful playing attitude.
We are currently recruiting for our 2023/2024 Season, for the following teams:
Training Sessions are lead by FA and UEFA qualified coaches with an aim to develop the individual, the team and a focus on enjoying football.
Goalie training takes place on Friday evenings on the 3G with ex-Macc Town First Team Goalie Coach Bill Gorton, and is free for Egerton FC members.
Membership to Egerton Girls Football Club is £270 and is renewed annually. Membership includes weekly training sessions, matches and kit.
U7-U11 girls train Wednesdays 5 – 6.20pm
U12, U13 and U15 girls train Wednesdays 6.30 – 7.50 pm
U14 girls train Mondays 6.30 – 7.50 pm
The Girls squad also train on a Saturday morning 8.45 – 10am.
Holiday Club is run during the school holidays for girls and boys, from Reception to Yr 7 (maximum age 12).
Our Girls teams play development and league games in the Cheshire Girls Football League (u9, u10, u11, u12, u13) and the Manchester Girls Football League (u14).
